♟ Tournament Rules & Regulations🔹 General Rules:

  1. Latest FIDE rules will apply.
  2. Format: The tournament will be conducted under the Swiss system with 7/8 rounds, depending on the number of participants.
  3. Time Control: 15 minutes + 5 seconds increment per move from move one.
  4. Walkover Time: 15 minutes. Players arriving after this time will lose by forfeit.
  5. Reporting Time: All participants must report to the venue by 8:45 AM sharp for registration and confirmation.
  6. Players’ Meeting: A mandatory Players’ Meeting will be held at 9:00 AM. Important instructions and clarifications will be provided.
  7. First Round: The first round will commence immediately after the Players’ Meeting.
  8. Use of mobile phones or electronic devices during the game is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.
  9. Players must follow the instructions of arbiters and organizers at all times.
  10. The tournament will be officiated by certified arbiters.
  11. The decision of the Chief Arbiter shall be final and binding on all players.
  12. Any disputes must be reported immediately after the round. Late appeals may not be entertained.
  13. Pairings will be done using Swiss Manager / Swiss Software.
  14. Tie-breaks will be decided as per Cut1, Bucholz , Sonneborn Berger, Direct Incounter, No of victories.
  15. Players are expected to maintain discipline, sportsmanship, and decorum throughout the event.
  16. No electronic devices including all wrist watches are allowed by the players or spectators during the round in the playing venue.
    If such device found on body, during game then loss will be given to the player.
  17. Parents and coaches are not allowed in the playing area during the game.
  18. Participation Certificate will be provided to all players.
  19. Entries will be uploaded on chess-results.com every day between 10 to 10:30 pm.

  21. First round pairing will be displayed on 3rd August 2025 at 9 am
